The Cremation Service of Massachusetts is pleased to provide our members with the opportunity to take pre-planning one step further. By pre-paying your final arrangements at today’s prices, you will further relieve your family or friends from the financial and emotional burden of such expenses.
Inflation causes prices to increase every year. Our Irrevocable and Revocable Trust Plans enable you to pay now for future services at today’s lower prices. Pre-need funds are placed in a trust account in accordance with Massachusetts law. These funds gain interest which remain in the trust and are used to offset future cost increases. There funds cannot be withdrawn by anyone until they are needed to pay for the services you selected. We pay all the taxes and trust administrative fees. And because the funds are placed in an Irrevocable Trust account, they are excluded when determining State or Federal financial assistance eligibility. At the time of need, these funds will be withdrawn to pay for the cremation services selected. Regardless of what our charges are in the future, your services are guaranteed without additional cash outlay by family and friends.
Our Irrevocable Trust plan is simple and convenient. While most of our members choose to pre-pay for their services up-front by check or credit card, we realize that some people appreciate the flexibility of time payments. For your convenience, we offer payment plans with no interest or billing charges.
