The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any cremation arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy an item you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.
Direct Cremation Charge: $1595
Our charge for direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of licensed professional and staff, removal of remains, necessary authorizations, cremation container, and crematory fee. Cremation Services Credit & Payment Policy
We have established a uniform credit policy to serve all families fairly, and to alleviate misunderstandings. A sound credit policy enables us to better manage our costs to the families we serve. Our general credit policy is that the total goods and services selected (less any benefits that are being applied for) is due and payable prior to the date of cremation.
The following are acceptable credit arrangements:
We accept cash, bank checks, and most major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard and Discover) as forms of payment.
Entitled Benefits. We will process, on the family’s behalf, any death benefits from the Veterans Administration, City or State Welfare Department, Dept. of Transitional Assistance, Medicaid or Personal Needs Account as payment toward cremation expenses. If these funds do not cover the complete cost of the cremation goods and services, the remaining balance is due and payable in accordance with our general credit policy outlined above.
We are unable to accept payment through life insurance assignments unless the proceeds have been previously assigned to our firm as part of a pre-arrangement agreement. Attempting to add or change a beneficiary designation after a death occurs serves to delay payment of the insurance proceeds to the rightful, named beneficiary. In addition, some insurance companies do not allow for a beneficiary change or assignment after a death has occurred, and of the ones that do, many are unwilling to say which survivor(s) should sign the forms citing privacy concerns. For these reasons and others we do require payment before the cremation occurs.
We regret that we are unable to accept settlement of estates through attorneys or probate court as a means of financial arrangements. Please call our office at 800-696-5887 with any questions concerning your account or our credit policy.
